Futureworld (DVD) Movie - A Science - fiction Film
Futureworld is a 1976 film sequel to science fiction movie -- Westworld. The movie is directed by Richard T. Heffron and stars Peter Fonda as Chuck Browning, Blythe Danner as Tracy Ballard and Arthur Hill as Duffy.
The story begins two years after the Westworld tragedy in the Delos amusement park, which is reopened by the corporate owners of the park. For publicity aspects, reporters Chuck Browning and Tracy Ballard are invited to review the park. Just before reaching the park, Browning gets a clue from a dying man that something is wrong.
During investigation, the reporters discover that Delos is simply a trick to bring world leaders, the rich and the famous in one place, so that the guests can be drugged during their stay through one of their meals and during their unconsciousness state, genetic samples are taken in order to create fully programmed engineered clones having murderous intent thereby letting Delos to take over the world.
Knowing these facts, the reporters involve in a dramatic chase and battle begins between them and their doubles. Soon the duo makes their way to Delos' airport after successfully taking over their dispatched twins. But before leaving, they meet the project's chief scientist and reveal him their plan to reveal to the outside world about this new resort with the help of their reports. But as they reach the busy departure lounge, they have been blocked by clone staggers, who tries to threaten their life. Will the duo succeed in their mission to Save?
